I'm Ollie Baccay, a second-year Mathematics student at Northeastern University with a minor in Data Science. I have a strong interest in machine learning and data engineering, particularly at their intersection with insurance and actuarial science.
Most recently, I worked as a Data Engineer at Cortex building an AI knowledge graph. This summer, I'll be an actuarial intern at Travelers in the Enterprise Catastrophe Risk Management department, and this fall at John Hancock as an actuarial co-op.
I passed SOA Exam P and am currently preparing to take Exam FM in June 2026.
I am from Chappaqua, NY and now based in Boston, MA. Outside of class and work,
